You can usually find a good Rubbermaid toilet brush online for under $15. These are going to typically be made of attractive white plastic that will fit any décor. What you really want is a toilet brush holder when you buy a toilet brush. You don’t want a used brush just lying on the floor next to the toilet. Rubbermaid has several toilet brush holders too.
They offer 2 types of toilet brush holders. One looks like a small dog dish. You just place the toilet brush head down first into the holder. The drawback to this is that the brush is exposed and anyone can see it. Plus this doesn’t allow the water from the brush a place to go. The brush just sits in its water.
A better type they offer has a clamshell feature. When you go to pull the brush out of the holder, the holder automatically opens up like a clam, allowing the brush to be removed. When you are finished with it, place the brush back into the holder and it will close down on the brush. This way you will no longer see the brush. This holder also comes with a reservoir that allows the water to drip into a separate area, allowing the toilet brush to thoroughly dry after each use.
